    <title>PRIDE Methodologies for IRM now available as book</title>
    <link>https://www.modernanalyst.com/Resources/News/tabid/177/ID/2640/PRIDE-Methodologies-for-IRM-now-available-as-book.aspx</link>
    <description>&amp;#160;The &quot;PRIDE Methodologies for IRM&quot; is now available in soft cover from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/PRIDE-Methodologies-IRM-Tim-Bryce/dp/097861822X/
&amp;#160;
The book contains three separate but equal methodologies for collecting, controlling and reusing the information resources of a business (universally applicable).
&amp;#160;
Enterprise Engineering Methodology (EEM) is used to study a business, define it logically and physically, and calculate an Information Strategy suitable for the whole enterprise.
&amp;#160;
Information Systems Engineering Methodology (ISEM) is used to perform a feasibility study on a systems project, design it logically and physically, and implement accordingly. &amp;#160;Software Engineering is considered a subset of ISEM.
&amp;#160;
Data Base Engineering Methodology (DBEM), is used to design the corporate data base logically and physically in an evolutionary manner using &quot;objects.&quot;
&amp;#160;
Project Management (PM) is used to plan, estimate, schedule, report and control all project activities.

According to author Tim Bryce,&amp;#160;&quot;Techniques and tools will come and go; it&#39;s the methodology which is of paramount importance.&quot;
&amp;#160;
This technology is based on the original &quot;PRIDE&quot; methodologies which is derived from engineering and manufacturing concepts.
&amp;#160;
&quot;This book provides management with a complete set of powerful tools for managing the largest information systems projects.&quot;
- Summers Hagerman
Independent Systems Consultant

&quot;I am really impressed with your book. Its a heavy &quot;Bible&quot; given all the experience and knowledge you can imagine in the fields of IRM. This book deserves to be a bestseller like &#39;The Da Vinci Code.&#39; It&#39;s a real treasure of knowledge for people involved with IRM, Enterprise Engineering and Systems Development. MBA deserves a lot of credit from the industry for their achievements in this field.
I think you have succeeded in presenting all concepts in a well structured and easy readable form and at the same time easy to navigate.&quot;
- Michael Willenbrack

The cost for the soft cover version is $15 from MBA Press.

    <link>https://www.modernanalyst.com/Resources/News/tabid/177/ID/507/MBA-Preps-PRIDE-Methodology-Podcasts.aspx</link>
    <description>In an unprecedented move, M. Bryce &amp;amp; Associates (MBA), the developers of the &quot;PRIDE&quot; Methodologies for IRM announced plans to produce a series of podcasts explaining the methodologies and how they work. &quot;PRIDE&quot; was originally introduced in 1971 as the first systems methodology in the industry. Since then it has evolved into a comprehensive approach for Information Resource Management (IRM), including structured methodologies for Enterprise Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Data Base Engineering, and Project Management.</description>
